This is the page on my blog that pertains to my “business,” I suppose I should call it. When I was in the 3rd grade, my mom sat me in front of Martha Stewart’s tv show every Saturday morning to tape it, “pause the commercials,” and make a log in a steno notebook of that week’s topics. I’ve been baking and creating ever since, and what started as just a word-of-mouth thing where I was baking for friends and friend’s friends has evolved into an absolute passion—borderline obsession! If I’m not baking then I’m thinking about it…new flavors and decorations, all the time!

If you’d like a cake, some cupcakes, or almost any kind of baked goody for your next occasion, please let the atomic cakery work up something delicious for you! A sweet treat for both your eyes and tastebuds!
I specialize in cupcakes and modern cakes with gumpaste/fondant/marzipan decorations. I also made a kick-butt chocolate cake that I spent over a year perfecting. I always always use Swiss meringue buttercream icing for my cakes. Instead of the lardy, crisco-infested crap you’d get the grocery store bakery, I use fresh butter, egg whites, and granulated sugar. It’s a soft, sweet, airy, buttery infusion of…joy.
